A Part-time Gig At
Washington Sports & Entertainment

Quentin S. Addison has led an impressive career as a television producer and director in his 21+ years working in the sports and entertainment industry. Quentin started his broadcasting career in 1997, as a part-time employee at Washington Sports & Entertainment, which later became Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE). His roles included Utility, Video/Tape/Camera/Replay Op, Font Assist, Technical Director, and In-game Director.

In 2012 he became the Director of Game Entertainment. During this time, Quentin was responsible for literally shutting down Twitter when he directed the cameras to put President Barack and Michelle Obama on the Kiss Cam during a U.S.A Basketball game.

MSE promoted him to VP of Technical & Broadcast Operations in 2019, overseeing in-house production, digital signage, and screens, and helping to facilitate local and national broadcast affiliates.

Through his commitment as VP, he has helped MSE increase sponsorship visibility and the sponsorship landscape throughout the arena.

Quentin conceptualized and increased revenue through the Wizards’ Post game Friday Night Concert Series, which has hosted artists such as Doug E. Fresh, Johnny Gill, Tank, Ludacris, Biz Markie, MC Lyte, Hezekiah Walker, Marvin Sapp, Big Daddy Kane, and the Go-Go band EU. He was also instrumental in naming the G League Team the Washington Go-Go.

Prior to his current role, Quentin worked as a Head Coach for high school girls’ and boys’ basketball, girls’ volleyball, and girls’ softball in the Maryland Public School System.

Quentin received a BS in Computer Science and Technology from Savannah State University. He attended DeMatha and Largo Senior High School where he played basketball and was offered several basketball scholarships during his senior year.

Quentin has also worked with several production teams on concerts, comedy shows and Presidential events.

"The first time working with “Q” was great. He cared about my product and brand, which I'm not accustomed to. I will be working with him on all my projects moving forward."
